Story
Were excited to announce that throughout May, I'll be taking on the physical and fundraising challenge of the MATES Big Lap. Our Team goal is to commit to complete 1,200km of physical activity by tracking the kilometres we cover each day, all while raising awareness and funds for MATES. The distance covered by each participant will be added together to hopefully achieve one Big Lap of Australia!
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference and help MATES continue their crucial work.

MATES in Construction is a for the industry, by the industry, not for profit that exists to strengthen the construction, mining and energy industries by preventing suicide; because a life saved is one less family grieving, one less site devastated and one less community heartbroken.
MATES is an evidence-based program that reduces stigma and promotes mentally healthier workplaces through training and support. MATES Field Officers deliver training to sites and keep in contact if anyone is in need, while MATES Support is available 24/7 to workers and their families who may be doing it tough.
