Terry's MATES Big Lap
Story
Hi Everyone!
I'm teaming up with my Lendlease workmates and taking on the MATES Big Lap challenge. This is where a select group of elite athletes from Lendlease Construction (ok maybe we're just employees with a passion) add up our collective k's (run or walk) for the month of May.
Then all the registered individual or team's k's are added together, where hopefully, you guessed it, we will achieve at least one Big Lap of Australia.
I believe that supporting this cause is important for MATES in OUR community. Conveniently, not only am I teaming up with my workmates, I get the added benefit of extending myself, effectively upping the ante on my personal health goals.
If you are even half interested in my achievements, great! But even better if you want to join me and my Lendlease MATES in our fund-raising journey toward a healthier community.

MATES in Construction is a for the industry, by the industry, not for profit that exists to strengthen the construction, mining and energy industries by preventing suicide; because a life saved is one less family grieving, one less site devastated and one less community heartbroken.
MATES is an evidence-based program that reduces stigma and promotes mentally healthier workplaces through training and support. MATES Field Officers deliver training to sites and keep in contact if anyone is in need, while MATES Support is available 24/7 to workers and their families who may be doing it tough.
